Bean: Ethiopia is known as the birth place of coffee. The region has a nearly perfect coffee growing climate with fertile soil that produces a rich, distinctively flavored coffee. The plants grow wild among the trees in the rugged mountains, where it is handpicked by native villagers. Like many other coffee growing countries, the people of Ethiopia rely on coffee as a main source of income.
